A proud day in the VanLue house as we finished our first week of school and it was a great success! Katie transitioned wonderfully into her 2 morning a week preschool. This week they painted with shaving cream and made yellow circles. Do we hear a big "whoooo-hooo" for Katie? Her teacher's sister leaves Monday to go to China for her very own little doll! Kristin in K4 had 'beach week'...complete with sand art and pudding buckets with gummy bears. Kristin looks like the Florida, blonde and tan beach babe these days so she fit right in! (no bikinis allowed:)) She also informed us that the class hermit crab stayed out of his shell all day. Excellent observation skills, Kristi! Leni, you will see blowing bubbles and experimenting with them. She's our science/animal girl. And yes, there's still the tadpole issue in our yard.....:( Anyone need an amphibian from Leni's Tadpole World?! (just thought I'd ask....just in case you were shopping for one). We learned how St. Bernard dogs were bred for rescue purposes before there were vehicles, and she did lots of cutting and pasting. I don't know what yall are thinking at this point but......we smell Harvard!!! :) Although, I don't know if even Harvard is ready for Kristin!:) Elle Woods ain't got nothin compared to our blondie!
