A Big Announcement For Us.....!

As you can plainly see or hear by turning on the news or reading the headlines, there's alot of people hurting out there just trying to make ends meet. Many, many people are working very hard and are barely able to put food on the table. The Destiny Foundation of Central Florida is an incredible organization that not only provides food at discounted rates, but also job assistance, emergency financial aid, and most recently medical care for the uninsured of Central Florida. That's where we come in. Our Daddy has just been named the Medical Director of the Destiny Foundation and we couldn't be more excited or humbled to be a part! They are working to provide ongoing free care to families in crisis, and the uninsured children that make up 50% of our population. Next week they have organized and will be running a free clinic for back to school physicals for children and families. Last year they expected 500....and over 3000 turned up! This year Scott and staff are working to meet the needs of these children and their parents not only on Aug. 10th but as an ongoing ministry for these families. There are many more things in the works that hopefully will be announced soon!Scott's involvement will help facilitate labs and testing that have not been available.. in addition to other resources now becoming common place that had formally been out of reach. Our prayer is that our Lord and Savior be glorified as we seek to defend the cause of the poor and needy in our generation! And yes, as the video suggests....it may be as near as your neighbor!
